Fall at Marrick's Landing
The fall brings
brilliant colours, shopping opportunities
and Studio Tours
that you can participate in. There are quite a
few golf courses in our area
and as the temperature of the lake falls, it is also a great time of
year to fish and land “the big one”.
 Join us in Burleigh Falls
and Buckhorn for our annual
Colours 'n' Crows Fall Tour.
September 24 - October 10, 2005
The Fall has always been a
beautiful time in our area due to our amazing colourful display of
autumn leaves. But now we have added Scarecrows! Lots and lots of
Scarecrows! Scarecrows will be on display at businesses, resorts,
community buildings and private residences throughout Burleigh
Falls, Buckhorn and the surrounding area, and you are invited to
visit the area, enjoy the sights and join the fun! Call for more
details!Through Canadian Outdoor
Recreational Experiences (CORE), let us introduce you to the
wonderful world of canoeing and/or kayaking. Take one of their
lessons and you will learn:
- All about your canoe or
kayak and equipment
- Launching and landing
canoes/kayaks
- Paddling strokes and
maneuvers
- Lifts and carries
- Rescue techniques and
safety
If golfing is your passion,
we are close to several golf courses from which to choose.

If it is a get-a-way you are looking for, look no further. Listen
to the loons, walk to Burleigh Locks or sit by your campfire as the
city fades into the back ground. Our fall rates are discounted from
our summer rates or you can take advantage of our Fall Mid-Week
Special. Visit us
Sunday to Thursday - reserve four or five nights
and stay one night for free!
